Ritzenhoff - Ritzenhoff Champagne Glasses

The Beer Glass

Each Beer and Pilsner glass is individually packaged in a round box container (shown) and each box contains four (4) beer mats signed by the artist as well as a leaflet depicting all of the glasses in the collection. The Champus, or Champagne glass comes in the container with a linen cocktail napkin. The packaging is worth the price alone – it is absolutely unique!

The Beer Glass (or Weizen)

This is the glass used for Wheat Beer. For Best Results – do it the German Way.

Carefully place the bottleneck at the bottom of the glass – gently tip the bottle and slowly withdraw it as the beer rises in the glass. This takes courage!!!! Any air trapped between the bottle and the rising beer will immediately cause it to bubble over the glass’s edge. Once the glass is almost full – the bottle is laid on its side and rolled to and fro to produce the stable and beautiful froth that crowns the beer. You should wind up with a Head that is 1 ½ – 2 inches high. Finally – you can add a slice of lemon (or lime) and ENJOY!!!
